Voice stars take over charts

CON­TES­TANTS on The Voice have proved a force to be reck­oned with af­ter tak­ing six spots in this week’s ARIA sin­gles chart and knock­ing off the reign­ing num­ber one.

The show’s win­ner, Karise Eden, has four songs in the chart.

Her new sin­gle, Stay With Me Baby, is num­ber one, end­ing Flo Rida’s sev­en­week run at the top spot.

In sec­ond place is Eden’s Hal­lelu­jah, fol­lowed by her sin­gle I Was Your Girl in third place.

Hot on her heels is The Voice fi­nal­ist Sarah De Bono’s sin­gle Beau­ti­ful.

Eden’s You Won’t Let Me rounds up this week’s top five.

Flo Rida’s Whis­tle is now in sixth po­si­tion, while The Voice run­ner- up Dar­ren Per­ci­val’s Dam­age Down has de­buted at num­ber eight.

Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe has fallen to num­ber 10.

And Justin Bieber will have cause to cel­e­brate af­ter his third al­bum, Be­lieve, de­buted at num­ber one in the ARIA al­bum charts.

In sec­ond place is Voice judge Keith Ur­ban’s al­bum The Story So Far, up two spots.

His rise has pushed Missy Hig­gins’ long- awaited sec­ond al­bum, The Ol’ Raz­zle Daz­zle, to third place. Fel­low Voice judge Seal has re- en­tered the top 10 with his al­bum Hits up three places to num­ber 10.

Ur­ban dom­i­nates this week’s ARIA coun­try chart, with a new en­try and two al­bums in the top 10.

His The Story So Far al­bum con­tin­ues to top the charts and his lat­est of­fer­ing, Get Closer, has de­buted at num­ber four. Ur­ban’s Great­est Hits: 18 Kids re­turns to the Top 10 coun­try al­bums af­ter jump­ing four spots to eighth place.
