Take a break: Ev­ery hour or two, take 10 min­utes away from all com­puter screens to ‘‘ re­set the brain’’.

Ex­er­cise: Sit­ting in front of a screen for hours at a time is un­der­stand­ably un­healthy and what af­fects the body af­fects the mind. Jump around, go out­side or go for a walk to break the cy­cle.

Set lim­its: Plac­ing some lim­its on your avail­abil­ity eases the ‘‘ fear of miss­ing out’’. If you have a free week­end, tell your con­tacts you’re off­line for 24 hours and rel­ish in it.
