Destination delicious

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - Television - TAYLOR AUERBACH DESTINATION FLAVOUR, SBS ONE, Thursday, 8pm

SBS brings you the show that kept Adam Liaw out of MasterChef All Stars.

In his first TV series, shooting for which meant he couldn’t join other MasterCheffers for their star- studded reunion competition, Liaw ( pictured) crosses Australia in search of the perfect pappardelle, the most luscious lamb and our most magnificent mackerel.

Destination Flavour is a food- inspired road trip around Australia.

Hosts Liaw, Renee Lim and Lily Serna meet passionate growers, celebrated chefs and local foodies from all over the country, each one with a story to tell.

In the first episode, Renee meets legendary winemaker turned sheep farmer David Hohnen from the Margaret River region, Adam learns about the new craze for hot and cold smoking in Melbourne, while Lily catches up with leading providore Simon Johnson on Sydney’s beautiful Hawkesbury River.

With cooking fast approaching cricket as Australia’s favourite national pastime, there is a high chance we’ll lap up this latest serving like an amuse- bouche from Aria.
