Kate hitches ride with Ten

FORMER Home And Away star Kate Ritchie returns to TV to host Don’t Tell The Bride in which cash- strapped couples are given $ 25,000 to pay for their wedding.

Ritchie ( pictured) has been through the ringer since leaving Home And Away in 2008.

After 20 years playing Sally Fletcher, she decided to throw caution to the wind and it hasn’t all paid off.

The two- time Gold Logie winner shone as Judi Kane, the wife of slain 1970s standover man Les Kane, in the second series of Underbelly but her next role in Cops LAC was a ratings disaster.

In a bid to resurrect her acting career she joins Channel 10 for their latest reality show Don’t Tell The Bride.

In this, the hitch about getting hitched is that the groom must organise the whole wedding.

This week it’s snow and sport- obsessed Aaron taking charge of his wedding to Melissa. He’s a big picture man, not big on detail, and a master procrastinator. She’s a high- maintenance perfectionist. Will his plan for a snow wedding meet with a chilly reception?
