THE VACCINES COME OF AGE ( Sony)

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - Music - SAM KELTON

LABELLED the saviours of guitar music for their enjoyable debut What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, Come Of Age continues the UK band’s six- stringed celebration of pop rock. With their debut released barely 12 months ago, there’s no drastic change to their upbeat, edgy and quite often urgent classic rock.

All In Vain already sounds like an old favourite, Ghost Town has a rockabilly swing and the atmospheric closer Lonely World shows there’s much more to this band than merely hype.

Sounds like: what we expected.
