MICHAEL PALIN’S BRAZIL

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - TV -

Michael Palin undertakes another of his famous journeys, this time visiting the fifth largest country in the world, by both geography and population – Brazil. Palin’s first stop is in the North East, where modern Brazil in all its vibrance was born. African slaves were brought to work on sugar and tobacco plantations, and the mix of races and cultures produced a heady mix of music, food, dance and religion.
