12.0 per cent Lemony, herbal nose, the palate nicely fresh and smoothly tex­tured with lemon meringue pie flavours balanced by lovely crisp acid­ity, the fin­ish long, dry, clean and juicy.

TAR­RAWARRA ES­TATE 2011 VIOGNER ROUS­SANNE MARSANNE $ 30

Yarra Val­ley, Vic Flo­ral pot pourri aro­mas and a pleas­ant mix of spiced pears, or­ange rind, honey and toast on a sub­tly oaked palate with a dry and min­er­ally but fullflavoured fin­ish.

12.0 per cent A wine with fairly neu­tral aro­mas and di­luted flavours around a steely back­bone rescued from a very wet, cool year. Noth­ing faulty, un­bal­anced or un­pleas­ant, sim­ply not much ex­cite­ment.
