+ GINGER & CHAI
Add ¼ teaspoon ground ginger to the basic macaron mixture. Add ¼ teaspoon mixed spice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and ½ teaspoon ground ginger to the buttercream mixture.
+ PISTACHIO & CHOCOLATE
Substitute ½ cup ( 60g) almond meal in the basic macaron mixture for pistachio meal. Add 1 tablespoon cocoa powder to the basic buttercream mixture.
+ TIPS & TRICKS
Draw 4cm circles onto the non- stick baking paper with a pencil. When you pipe the macaron rounds onto the trays, use the circles as a guide.
