MOBICITY, $ 699.95 mobic

IS it a tablet? Is it a phone? Samsung doesn’t just blur but breaks the line between the two gadgets with the Galaxy Mega, a 6.3inch touchscreen device that dwarfs its Note smartphone. Despite its size, the 4G Mega is still quite usable as a phone, provided you’ve got the pocket space for a 199g, 16.7cm device. It delivers plenty of useful widgets to fill the larger display – its keyboard is easier than ever to navigate and taking a photo with its 8- megapixel camera is like capturing a screenshot from a TV. The Galaxy Mega lacks the cutting- edge specs of its Note II brother, however, with a less powerful dual- core 1.7GHz chip, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB storage, the same screen resolution, no stylus and only a slightly bigger battery at 3200mAh. Phablet fans, the short- sighted and those who want to see it all will adore it.
