+ THIS DENSE CAKE will nat­u­rally sink and crack a lit­tle while it cools in the tin. Cool com­pletely be­fore re­mov­ing. + AL­LOW THE IC­ING, to com­pletely be­fore spread­ing over the melt- and-mix cake. + FOR THE TRAY BAKE, re­frig­er­ate the ic­ing for 15 min­utes. Whisk for one minute, un­til the ic­ing has thick­ened, and spread over the cake. + LEAVE THE IC­ING at room tem­per­a­ture be­fore serv­ing with the mud cake. + YOU CAN FREEZE the uniced tray cake and melt- and- mix cake for up to two months. + IT IS BEST to store the mud cake at room tem­per­a­ture. If you re­frig­er­ate the other cakes, bring them to room tem­per­a­ture be­fore serv­ing.
