AUSTRALIA WITH SIMON REEVE
SBS ONE, 8.30pm
Simon Reeve continues his travels in our backyard by heading from Darwin to Cape York Peninsula and then to the Great Barrier Reef. He begins in Kakadu and addresses the growing problem of poisonous cane toads affecting our wildlife. He meets a team who seek to address the issue by catching and killing toads by hand. You’ll be surprised how they do it. Then it’s on to meet the men of military unit Norforce, who survive in the bush by drawing on the incredible knowledge of indigenous Australians.
