TOO GOOD ( OR BAD) TO BE TRUE?

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - TASTE -

HOW’S this, businesses are making easy money out of writing fake reviews for restaurants, accommodation, tours, wines, lawyers, doctors and just about anyone else offering a service. With US research revealing that fake positive reviews on internet lifestyle sites can add 10 per cent to a restaurant’s turnover – not to mention what fake negative reviews can do if paid by a competitor – such businesses are already big in that country, so big that New York authorities have started a crackdown. How long before we see it here? Or has it already started?
