THE go- to site for all that’s weird and won­der­ful on the in­ter­net, Twisted Sifter, has at­tracted another won­der­ful post. This time an un­touched Parisian apart­ment that was dis­cov­ered af­ter 70 years. Be­fore the start of World War II, the owner of the apart­ment fl ed to the south of France and never re­turned. The amaz­ing trea­sure trove that was dis­cov­ered af­ter the owner died, in­cluded a por­trait of a lady in a pink dress by 19th cen­tury Ital­ian artist Gio­vanni Bol­dini which re­cently sold at auc­tion for a cool $ 3.4 mil­lion.
