The day Lon­don should have been cel­e­brat­ing win­ning the right to host the 2012 Olympics be­came a nightmare. It was July 7, 2005, and a wave of ter­ror­ist at­tacks across the city’s pub­lic trans­port net­works killed 52 people, in­jured more than 700, and scarred count­less more lives. This stark, stoic and ex­tra­or­di­nary doco high­lights the sto­ries of more than 50 people caught in those at­tacks, and their res­cuers.


Yep, it’s called the Tour de France, but the race still hasn’t quite made it out of Eng­land yet. Tonight’s Tour hits stage three, as the field makes their way from Cam­bridge to Lon­don – or Lon­dres, if you’re ou’re in Tour- speak. Be­tween this and the World Cup, we’re ex­hausted. . Thank God Wim­ble­don fin­ished last night. Reign­ing cham­pion Chris Froome ( pic­tured), the Kenya- born Bri­ton, is a strong ong favourite to re­tain the yel­low jersey but will be pushed shed hard by Spain’s Al­berto Con­ta­dor.
