WIN, 7.30PM

It was Mel Brooks who said, “Tragedy is when you cut your finger. Comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die”. You can’t help but think Hamish Blake and Andy Lee ( pictured) feel the same way. Like Brooks, they simply refuse to grow up even though there are people who think they’re getting a little old to be pulling dangerous pranks. In episode two of Gap Year, they hook up with a tour group that specialises in giving a “Mexican border crossing experience”. That doesn’t sound dodgy. Then they head into the Amazon jungle to blow some darts. What could possibly go wrong?

7MATE, 9.30PM

Paul Fenech’s crossover from outrageous comedy ( Housos, Fat Pizza) to tongue in cheek reality ( Bogan Hunters) has been a touch awkward, but the grand final edition of this show is the ultimate in car crash TV. You simply can’t look away as the seven finalists from around the country battle it out to be crowned Australia’s Greatest Bogan. The hot favourite is Andrew from Tassie, who has eight kids and no teeth ( the only way he can eat a kebab is by throwing it in a blender and drinking it).
