Offspring’s been very dark of late, but there are superb lighter moments amid the angst tonight. Nina ( Asher Keddie) and Billie ( Kat Stewart) are agonising over their romances, but it’s the eccentric and awkward Clegg ( Lachy Hulme) who is in scenestealing form at the prospect of his ex, Cherie ( hello, Deb Mailman) back working at the hospital. Cameo alert – Ray Martin ( pictured), playing himself – in a Nina dream sequence.
