The fi­nal episode of Luke Nguyen’s 10- part se­ries on the food of France – and its links to his Viet­namese her­itage – starts in the Loire Val­ley. Eel is the first dish on the menu fol­lowed by rus­tic roast duck. Next, Nguyen heads to the sea­side town of St Malo to catch gi­ant crabs. Af­ter a meet­ing with but­ter ex­pert Jean Yves, Nguyen tack­les scal­lops. Nguyen’s enthusiasm plus those pic­ture­post­card set­tings make this one of SBS’s best food shows.

For­mer Packed to the Rafters star Jes­sica McNamee ( pic­tured) red) shows off her mu­si­cal prow­ess on tonight’s episode of this ac­claimed lo­cal drama. McNamee’s Lisa is set to per­form along­side Luce ( Shane Ja­cob­son), cob­son), but there is a bat­tle of wills. Mean­while, Ray ( Tony Barry) con­fides es to Chai Li ( Michelle Ver­gara Moore) that he is hav­ing night­mares from om his war stint in Viet­nam.
