Best on the Box

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - TV -

ABC, 7.30pm

Former celebrity gossip mag editor Michael is more au fait with Britney Spears than bricks and mortar, yet he and partner Phil are determined to build a “21st century farmhouse” in Berkshire. Their land comes with rules – it must be run as a commercial farm – so these city slickers also have to find a way to make money from the land. The house is a stunner ( host Kevin McCloud calls it “Darth Vader’s rural retreat”) and their business idea isn’t bad either: boutique beer. Livin’ the dream, lads!

TDT, 8.30pm

This Halle Berry- led sci- fi drama might be a little slow- paced d ( taking the “creepy” part of its description a little too literally, y, perhaps?), but if you’ve come this far it’s fair to say you’re hooked. ooked. After returning from space with unexpected cargo ( a supernatural natural bun in the oven), astronaut Molly ( Berry, pictured) is forced to flee when her boss tries to put her in quarantine. Tonight, Louis ouis Gossett Jr turns up as Molly’s long- lost father.
