CURLY PROBLEMS

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - HOME -

IF YOU’RE a gardener who has had a problem with curly leaf on your stone fruit in seasons past then now is the time to start doing something about it. Go and check your tree, the buds should be starting to swell and change colour this means the tree is waking from its slumber. Mix up your spray, this can be copper sulphate, copper oxychloride or a Bordeaux mix. This should be applied two to three times before the leaves appear, when they are out it is too late. If we get rain it will wash the spray off so it may need to be reapplied.
