Best on the Box

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 -

In the second episode of his second series, chef Matt Moran heads to the Riverland region of South Australia. Naturally, he throws a line in to try to catch a Murray cod. More surprising is the abundance of almonds Matt finds in these parts. Where the Murray has traditionally been lined with fruit trees, almond orchards are now booming, pushing Australia towards the top of the heap in worldwide production. That’s nuts!

This Aussie office comedy mines its laughs from chaos and confusion. fusion. There’s no shortage of that when the Nation Building Authority is handballed a problem highway. Art installations lining the road – one is a scale model of a truckstop – are delaying the whole project. Tony ony ( Rob Sitch, pictured) is also having problems with the appointment ent reminders on his phone and there’s another international delegation due to drop by – but are they “Pocahontas Indians” or “Sachin Tendulkar Indians”?
