Effi cient if unnecessary remodelling of the 1954 Audrey Hepburn classic. Doe- eyed Julia Ormond ( Legends of the Fall) has the tough job of fi lling Audrey’s dainty shoes, and she makes a fair fi st of it if you don’t harbour too many memories of the original. Ormond’s title character is the lowly daughter of a chauffeur to a wealthy family, a plain Jane who fails to trouble the trousers of the swinging playboy of the house, David ( Greg Kinnear), or his serious older brother, Linus ( Harrison Ford). But it’s amazing what a working holiday in Paris will do for a girl, and Sabrina returns from her chic French pad a drop- dead gorgeous, posh- talking man- magnet.
