MANKIND FROM SPACE

8.35PM, SBS

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - WEEK IN MOVIES -

Sadly this show is not an awe-inspiring use of footage shot from space showcasing mankind’s impact on the Earth. Instead, it’s a worthy but dull history lesson that begins 10,000 years ago with the invention of crops, takes in the printing press and discovery of oil. The “from space” bit mostly seems to consist of a CGI globe with “visualisations” of stuff happening, like lines representing communication between countries.
