Every aspect of their de­vel­op­ment has been mon­i­tored since – genes, growth, ill­ness, psy­chol­ogy and brushes with the law. One of the most fas­ci­nat­ing dis­cov­er­ies is of a “ge­netic switch” that’s flicked in the event of ma­jor life events. This four-part se­ries is ut­terly fas­ci­nat­ing.
