The pun­dits are pre­dict­ing there’ll be lots of love for Game of Thrones, Mr Ro­bot, Veep, The Amer­i­cans and The Peo­ple Vs OJ Simp­son.

Wash the bad taste of the new ver­sion out of your mouth with this ‘al­pha­bet­i­cal’ homage to Top Gear in which A stand for “a lot of the best bits” and B for “am­bi­tious but rub­bish”. Hosted by John Bishop there’s plenty of clas­sic seg­ments in­clud­ing that in­de­struc­tible Toy­ota Hilux, the Re­liant Robin space ship and a trip along Bo­livia’s in­fa­mous ‘death road’.

COM­EDY FRESH OFF THE BOAT 8PM, ELEVEN

For their an­niver­sary Louis (Ran­dall Park) tries to re­cap­ture the magic of their wed­ding night when Jes­sica ne­go­ti­ated a bar­gain price on a new car. But to her eter­nal shame Jes­sica (Con­stance Wu) failed to get floor mats thrown in, and has hated the an­niver­sary ever since. Can she re­deem her­self by get­ting a good deal at Shaq Mo­tors? Bas­ket­ball great Shaquille O’Neal (right) guest stars.
