Variegated hostas

ENLIST THE SQUASH SQUAD

Variegated hostas thrive in Tasmania and do particularly well in shady spots. When planted closely together they create outstanding, ground-covering borders that can light up dark corners of any garden. However, hosta leaves are attractive to snails and slugs, so be prepared to carry out regular torchlight squashing sessions.
