what IS IT?
Going round in circles
LET’S jump in the time machine this week and head back to the 1800s. This crazy looking circular contraption is from the Victorian era.
It appears to have a pair of scissors inside it and a measuring tape-like device, too. But who would need to cut n’ measure something at the same time?
This gentleman’s item was made in England and found at the Drill Hall Emporium in New Norfolk.
Does it hold your head in place? And would that even be comfortable? Or does it slide around a person’s ankle — prison chic. Could it make a man look 256 per cent more dapper?
These are the big, important questions and we will have the answer for you next Sunday.
