Rose Deutzia

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - GARDENING -

One of the most beautiful of all springflowering shrubs is the pink-flowered Rose Deutzia (D. rosea). Growing to about a metre tall and wide this plant becomes completely covered with pale pink flowers. As flowers fade in early summer, prune back all branches by about one third and water generously. This ensures an even more spectacular display next spring.
