Brussels sprouts

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - GARDENING -

Sow seeds of kale and Brussels sprouts into punnets as a matter of urgency. The seedlings should be big enough for planting out by early February. This allows them to grow through summer and by mid-autumn they will have formed big rosettes of healthy leaves. They can then enter winter in full vigour to guarantee lots of well-buttoned, solid sprouts and healthy, nutritious kale leaves.
