What is it?:

Get straight to the point if you are serious about identifying this week’s item.

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - TASSIE LIVING -

It seems to be a common theme for What Is It? objects to have a vaguely sinister appearance to them, and this week’s is no different.

At the other end of the spectrum, it looks like it could be an elongated ice cream cone, but this implement has got nothing to do with food.

Why is it tapered to a point? Which end do you even use?

It’s relatively big, when compared to the hand, so it doesn’t seem like it would be used for a particularly delicate task.

This week’s item was found at Annick’s Antiques in Battery Point.

If you know what the object is, let us know at tassieliving@news.com.au.

Next week we will print the names of those with the correct answers, and unveil our next mystery object.
