What is it?:
You’ll need to cast you mind back to get this one.
ONE of the best things about our What Is It? section has always been the opportunity it offers to engage with readers.
And, on occasion, they have been kind enough to send us a curious item to put forward for everyone to ponder over. Today is one of those days.
Reader Julie Lovell emailed in pictures of this piece that belonged to her father. The family is not sure how old it is.
It appears to be made of cast iron.
If you turn it from one side to the other, the three pointy bits are all a different size to one another. What was it used for? If you know the answer please let us know at email@example.com
Next weekend we will print the names of those with the correct answer and unveil the clues to our next mystery object.
