What is it?:

By hook or by crook, this is a tricky one.

WHILE hunting through antiques shops for

What Is It? items is good fun, it is equally thrilling to receive an email from a reader looking for help with their own item.

Last week, Steve Walkley sent through some pictures of a piece he has. Although Steve said he has owned it for years, he does not remember where he came across it. It seems to be made of brass. There is one cylinder inside the other and each cylinder is 7cm long. The inner one is quite heavy for its size and might be filled with lead.

If you know what his item is please shoot us an email at tassieliving@news.com.au Next week we will, hopefully, reveal the answer to Steve’s question. Or at least give him a solid hint or two that may help us figure out what it is!
