Pumpkin seeds

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - GARDENING -

Don’t bother saving the seeds of pumpkins that go rotten too early. The best seeds always come from those pumpkins that store longest and taste great. Ignore seeds from pumpkins with deep hollows around stalks – this is where moisture collects and rots set in. The seeds can be cleaned of all pulp and while still sticky, can be adhered in rows over a paper towel then stored in a dry place until spring.
