What Is It?:
Just clamp your eyes on this one
This week’s What Is It? item was discovered at Archive Antiques in New Town. The tool pictured is almost as shiny as the bits and pieces it is used to put together and pull apart.
It generally comes in a kit, similar to the one which can be seen in the back ground of the image.
The kit includes metal stakes in various sizes, and a range of short round cylindrical and cone shaped pieces.
The device is used for a very delicate and fiddly practice requiring surgical precision.
