This week’s What Is It? mystery item comes from the good folks at Willow Court Antique Centre in New Norfolk.
This device dates back to the early 1800s and consists of two ushaped metal hooks with a series of drilled holes in each.
It would have held two components of a much larger item together.
The item helps a much larger contraption get around.
And the contraption, despite being prolific in the 1800s, is more popular than ever today for sport and recreation purposes.
