Turkish sage

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - GARDENING -

Turkish sage (Phlomis russeliana) grows to perfection in Tasmania and can be planted out now as seedlings or divisions. The plants have lovely, feltlike heart-shaped leaves and fascinating, hooded flower-heads half a metre tall. They love any welldrained soil – even sandy conditions and anywhere in full sunlight.
