Another Drill Hall puzzler to get your head around

These beautiful, light-blue glass orbs are from the Drill Hall Emporium at New Norfolk.

The larger one is reminiscent of a Christmas bauble while the smaller one is wrapped in a rugged brown rope with frayed ends.

A small lump protrudes from each ball with a hole through it to be attached to or hung from something. Contemporary versions are still in use today by hobbyists and professionals. These are made in any shape, colour and size imaginable and commonly made from plastic. They can also be made from wood, foam and other bits and pieces.
