ABSOLUTELY. Those of you who have ever watched a friend or a loved one suffer would get it. Let people have the choice.
I HAVE been in that position with my son and, no, I don’t agree with the law. With good medical care, pain relief and hospice/palliative care the suffering is minimised — but suffering doesn’t belong in a neat little box and the grief process after is made more complicated with these laws.
YES. Watched both parents waste away from cancer. It was heartbreaking and they were in pain. When it’s my turn I want to make my own choice. None of the government’s business.
DON’T want anyone pulling the pin on me. Pain relief and palliative care will do me.
