Prince and the president steal the show

Sunday Tasmanian - - News | World - RACHEL DALE

THE bromance blossomed between Prince Harry and Barack Obama as they cheered on the wheelchair basketball in Toronto.

The pair bounced off each other while they cheered on the teams at the Invictus Games at the Pan Am sports centre.

Mr Obama and the prince were also the focus of hilarious rival videos during the lead-up to the Games in Florida last year.

Their latest appearance is believed to have been planned as Mr Obama was in Canada to deliver a speech earlier that day about global citizenship.

The meeting was a stark contrast from last Saturday when the prince met US First Lady Melania Trump with an awkward handshake. Mr Obama playfully nudged Harry on the shoulder at one point and the pair chuckled as the former US leader chanted: “USA, USA!”

Last week Prince Harry and girlfriend Meghan Markle looked every inch the loved-up couple after being spotted at their first public engagement together at the wheelchair tennis.
