Aussie tourists still stuck in Bali

Sunday Tasmanian - - News -

THOUSANDS of Australians could remain stranded in Bali as flying conditions worsen one week since Mount Agung erupted, sending plumes of ash into the air and forcing the temporary closure of Denpasar Airport.

More than 7400 passengers have been flown home by Jetstar, Virgin and Qantas since the airport reopened on Wed- nesday after the cloud from the volcanic eruption cleared. But more than 2000 people will remain in the popular holiday destination after conditions deteriorated yesterday.
