You Tube for study hints
AUSTRALIANS struggling to hit the books are turning to YouTube “Study with Me” videos for motivation.
Melbourne YouTuber Rachel Anderson, 27, has been making content since 2011.
Her half-a-million followers tune in to video after video for study tips and advice.
“It’s always interesting to see what successful people do in their routines,” she said.
“If your idols are saying studying and being organised is cool, it makes it cooler for you to do.”
“It’s just like going to the library or the cafe to study with your mate,” he said.
Australian YouTube video creators have uploaded almost 200 clips and views of the videos have grown 50 per cent since the start of the year.
YouTube learning manager Sanoop Luke said the trend started in Japan in 2015 and had just taken off in Australia.
