A DISABILITY pensioner accused of being drunk while riding a horse through a drive-in bottle shop says she probably could have handled the reins if she was 10 times over the limit — but won’t do it again.

Queensland police found her on horse Skippy outside Logan City Tavern on Monday night after she had ridden several kilometres.

“I am an alcoholic and I do have a very high tolerance to alcohol,” Ms Maguire said.

Ms Maguire said bottleshops in the area had served her on horseback several times in the past.
