Lambie adds to Senate ticket

Sunday Tasmanian - - News -

THE Jacqui Lambie Network has announced that Launceston tourism operator Chris Reynolds will join party leader Ms Lambie on her Tasmanian Senate ticket in the 2019 federal election.

Mr Reynolds previously won JLN preselection for Lyons in the 2018 Tasmanian state election.

He is the third member of the JLN Senate ticket, joining Ms Lambie and Ulverstone lawyer and farmer Glynn Williams.

Ms Lambie said Mr Reynolds was “exactly the sort of bloke that Canberra needs”.

“He spent years at the coalface working for the least fortunate Tasmanians, before putting his lifetime of local knowledge to use in his tourism business,” Ms Lambie said.

Senator Lambie is seeking to regain her Senate seat after resigning last year over dual citizenship.

Mr Reynolds said he was excited to be running for the JLN.

“I’m blessed to be able to spend my days showing visitors around this beautiful state of ours, and I know just how much Tasmanians are capable of accomplishing,” he said.
