STATE CONFERENCE Call to combat Left-wing rivals
THE Liberal Party says it can wrestle Bass, Braddon and Lyons from Labor at the next federal election, urging members to set their focus on combating left-wing lobby groups and unions.
Party state director Sam McQuestin yesterday told the party faithful at a Liberal State Council meeting in Hobart the Labor-held seats were “very winnable” but warned against complacency.
