Fizzy makeover falls flat
A MAJOR brand has downsized its soft drinks, sparking shopper complaints about paying the same for less.
Schweppes lemonade, lemonade zero sugar, raspberry, raspberry zero sugar, lime, sarsaparilla, and brown cream soda bottles have shrunk from 1.25 litres to 1.1 litres.
The switch to a “more contemporary” design has fallen flat with some consumers who have vented on social media, claiming they’ve been short-changed.
“First class rip off,” said one angry consumer on Facebook.
