Woof­s­tock has plenty to bark about

IF you and your pooch are up for a howlin’ good time, then Woof­s­tock is the place to be.

The fes­ti­val for dogs is in Dar­win for the first time, promis­ing en­ter­tain­ment ga­lore for you and your furry friends.

Pep­per, a five-month-old toy poo­dle, is head­ing along and will be en­ter­ing in the Next K9 Top Model com­pe­ti­tion.

Chan­nelling ’60s Wood­stock vibes, she’s been work­ing on her cos­tume for months and thinks she’s in with a chance to win.

Woof­s­tock will also fea­ture give­aways, mar­kets, en­ter­tain­ment and com­pe­ti­tions for dogs.

They are also on the look­out for dogs with the wag­gi­est tail and for furry fash­ion­istas to en­ter the Doggy Fash­ions on the Field.

Hot 100’s Lexi O’Mal­ley is judg­ing Best on Day and will be host­ing with her cav­a­lier King Charles spaniel, Frankie.

“I’ll be look­ing for dogs with a great per­son­al­ity, that are well man­nered and maybe have an awe­some cos­tume,” she said.

Woof­s­tock Dar­win is on to­day from 9am to 3pm at the Dar­win Turf Club.
