Pickard pair hard to beat

Sunday Territorian - - SPORT -

THE Carol Pickard team is going well at the moment and it is hard to split her runners Worthy Moment and Hawke’s Special in the feature $1750 CUB Sprint race six (537m) at Winnellie Park tonight.

Allen Ichiro (for Russell Savige) if near his best is also in the mix, while Blue Margarita (Nathan Toms) and Lumik Dragon (Hans Spykers) like this distance.

Newcomer Bluebow (Chris Blackman) was disappointing last week, but he can improve quickly and looks hard to beat from box eight in race one.

I’m Late (Jamie Hosking) is capable of a good showing from box one in race two, but take on trust.

The Darwin Greyhound Association’s leading trainer may have found the secret with Navajo Warrior and he is capable of going on with the job in race three.

It is hard to go past the flying Arnhem Mayhem (Hosking) even though race four is a quality line-up.

Gossip Park for Peter Donnolley is also a threat.

Hello Joan (Hosking) appears to be ideally drawn in box one for race five.

Dark Kepper for Graeme Ferns also looks an improving type.

Lochielle (Pickard) is going well at the moment and should be hard to run down from box two in race seven.

Shanae Seubert will be hoping for some early luck with Sublime Chance in race eight.

Peekaboo Bang can mix his form, but his best is good enough for trainer Steele Bolton in race nine.

Finally, Andrew Lasker will be looking for another bold performance from Bombay Rock in race 10, the threeyear-old bitch winning her past two starts.
