THE FRIENDS OF LEGACY
CALOUNDRA are a small group of good-hearted ladies who are able to spare a few hours each week to visit the widows of military veterans.
The widows live in local aged care facilities and the purpose of the visit is to provide companionship through conversation.
Important is listening with a sympathetic ear to interesting, often humorous stories of the life experiences of these ladies from an earlier generation. If this prospect appeals to you, phone Marlene on 5390 8151 or Wal on 0478 946 266.
