Are you ready to get a big fright?
Spooky celebrations are just around the corner:
IF YOU visit Aussie World at the end of this month you’ll be transported into a spine chilling apocalyptic scene.
Drawing inspiration from spooky end-of-the-world movies the theme park has recreated hazardous scenes it’s calling the Wasteland in preparation for Halloween.
Aussie World spokesperson Tim James said its Halloween FestEvil was one of the largest events on the theme park’s annual calendar.
For fans who love everything scary entering the dark and unforgiving terrain littered with zombie-like characters will provide a terrifying adventure.
“This year’s Halloween FestEvil still retains its family focus with the apocalyptic Wasteland situated within the park – that is optional for guests who are seeking the additional scare factor,” Mr James said.
“Our creative team have come up with something really captivating with Wasteland as it features four great mazes including the notorious Mayhem Maze which has been refreshed and updated so visitors should be prepared to expect the unexpected.
“It’s a fully dimensional experience that will bring all the senses alive with surrounding sounds, odours, touch and plenty of scary sights to see.
“Every year the crowds flow through during Halloween and best of all it’s a safe, family night out of fun with live shows, street entertainers and light-hearted entertainment including a giant trick or treat for the children.
“We love how people get dressed up and into the spirit of Halloween.”
The Halloween themed events will be held on October 20 and 27.
Gates open at 5-10pm, with rides starting at 6pm.
Ticket prices start at $35 per person and can be purchased from www. aussieworld.com.au.
