Body iden­ti­fied

THE BODY which washed up at Hell's Gate in Noosa Na­tional Park has been iden­ti­fied as a 64-year-old woman. A Queens­land Po­lice Ser­vice spokesman said the woman had been re­ported miss­ing on the af­ter­noon of Fri­day, Novem­ber 3, spark­ing a po­lice search.

Her body was found washed up on rocks, with wa­ter po­lice sent to re­trieve her. A re­port is be­ing pre­pared by the Coroner, but po­lice are not treat­ing the death as sus­pi­cious.

Caloundra crash

ONE per­son was taken to the Sun­shine Coast Univer­sity Hos­pi­tal with mi­nor head pain af­ter a crash in­volv­ing two ve­hi­cles at Queen St, Caloundra about 10.50am yes­ter­day.
