The latest on what the team’s eating, buying and loving this month
Oh, my goodness Actually getting food into the mouths of babes is tricky enough without thinking about nutrition! Our Art Director, Sarah, has been loving the new Pitango Little Goodness Range, $5.99, for her daughter, Tilly. Each ready-made meal contains one serve of vegies and has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Find them at Coles and Woolworths.
Two for one We must admit, we were sceptical when Cobs Chicago Mix Popcorn, $4.75, landed on our desk – cheese and caramel-flavoured popcorn in the same bag? But our doubt soon turned to delight as we gobbled down handful after handful of cheesy kernels paired with sweet caramel. But be warned – they’re seriously addictive. Pick up a bag from IGA.
Finals fever Footy and the barbecue go hand-in-hand, so you can trust The Big Marn’s Barbeque Cookbook ($35, New Holland Publishers) from rugby league legend Darryl ‘The Big Marn’ Brohman will be a winner. There are plenty of ideas to feed your scrum, as well as hilarious league stories you’ve never heard before.
Finishing touches Crack open a cold one this Father’s Day and turn an ordinary barbecue into a feast. No, we’re not talking about beer! Gourmet Garden Cold Blended Finishing Drizzle, $3, is an easy way to give grilled chicken, lamb or fish a flavour boost. Available in six flavours, including salsa verde and chimichurri, find them in the meat department at Coles.
